Here is the first of what is to be many “life posts” over the Summer. I’ll be at home with the girls, so the Mom-Business Owner pie chart is going to shift a bit in percentages over the next few months! I had to run and post this before I forgot (and realistically..I have a couple of other posts I should be doing first! LOL).
Anyway, so…… Zoe was tasked to clean her room today. It had been a while since she had been sent upstairs, so I went to check on her progress (and yes….I take my camera everywhere. LOL). THIS is what I found:
Yep…that look… “DOH! BUSTED!”. But I was…but ….oh……..huh?
The girl was designing clothing for her Barbies with a vintage suitcase full of fabric scraps, scissors and tape. * HEART MELT! *
I couldn’t help it. The “ZOE! CLEAN YOUR ROOM!” turned into..”ZOE!!!!! OMG! You made ARM CUFFS! I LOVE your fabric choices for that dress! The tape! You used tape!”.
Yeah. Chore-check: FAIL!
I apologize to my girls’ future husbands. They may not always been the timeliest with responsibilities, but they will SURELY be super-creative and colorful women. 
I think next time DADDY needs to do the chore-check, ya know….. to make sure stuff ACTUALLY gets done.
