Ok..sit back..grab a cuppa tea..glass of wine..what have you. I have a lot to cover today cause I”m BEHIND in my blog posts!

First of all…… I ADORE the transition into Summer. I think I cherish it so much more because I now live in the Pacific Northwest and it rains about 9 months out of the year. EVERY single day of sun is a pure GIFT! I shift my creative drive more towards photography in the Summer months, which actually renews my creative drive for clothing design in the long run! Now that my Spring/Summer 2013 line is in the bag, I can sit back and relax a bit and play with my camera for a while! I love shooting not only my own clothing, but my growing collection of vintage dresses for the girls, as well as for designer friends!

I recently did a shoot for my sweet friend, Laura, of Pish Posh Girls! SHe is such an amazing person and I SWEAR she is the ONLY person on Earth that has actually gotten me to like a knot dress. LOL. I wanted to test out the light in a new location, so…off we went…Delia, me and a cute little Pish Posh dress. I SWOON. Here goes:

Then….. my other fantastic friend, Juliet, of Maya’s Curls and I, have been working on a little something. Shoe clips!!!!!! My girls have so many shoes that could benefit from a special touch, so this is what we came up with. They also look beautiful on women’s shoes! (pssst…don’t tell her, but I also use them in the girls’ hair, too):

That brings me to today’s shoot for my OTHER wonderful friends, Cristy of paperlili, and Lori of Citefuzz!

We LOVE Citefuzz hats over here (for the girls and for me!) and well….. let’s just say my girls have an entire DRAWER devoted to paperlili tees. Zoe is about 2 weeks out from finishing up 1st grade, so…. I’ve started working on her 2nd grade wardrobe. The skirt is the “Giftwrap Skirt” from the ZozoBugBaby Fall collection! (No..Zoe doesn’t wear glasses, but she REALLY wants to. Claire’s Boutique has “attitude” glasses that make her SO happy right now!).

Ok. WHEW. I have one more commercial shoot to do this week, so I MAY get in another blog post this week! LOL. THe next one? For one of my FAVORITE BRANDS….. Bit of Whimsy Dolls! It’s been raining, so I’m a bit delayed, but…this week for SURE! If you haven’t discovered Bit of Whimsy…. RUN! They are SO SO adorable! My girls love them!

Let’s see……… in other news….saw Delia sitting like this playing a game on my phone this morning and it was just so ARTFUL to me. These vintage roller skates are too big for her, but she skates all around the house in them like a PRO! I really, really can’t wait to capture every day of Summer with my girls! I may exhaust you with daily “life” posts. I warn you.

I also took a few shots of Delia at a DREAMER shoot not long ago (shot by Shannon Sewell….coming on June 7th!). This shoot was for Zozo and Peppercorn Kids. How I simply ADORE Peppercorn Kids! You’ll see much more of them on the Zozo front soon!
