Have I mentioned that I do photography every day during the Summer? *sigh*. It’s my happy place when the sun is out! I also happen to love photographing for other designers sometimes, too. It lets me stretch my creative brain a bit to shoot clothing that’s different from my own. Somehow I feel less pressure when not shooting for myself, too. Weird, right?
Anyway…… I was so excited to shoot for Jehan at Yeleda. I love her work….it’s very vintage, but modern, too. She definitely has her own style! It also happens that I was able to schedule the most gorgeous redhead little girl for this shoot. Her hair is literally jaw-dropping. Not only that, but she is just the sweetest little girl and hit it off beautifully with my girls.

Backstory…… I was with Delia at a park a few weeks ago and saw this little girl. She and Delia connected on the playground and played together for quite a while. I HAD To get her to model for me. I just HAD to. I could see that she was with her grandpa and I spent most of the afternoon trying to figure out how to approach him without sounding like a stalker. It’s rare that I approach people out of the blue to model for me, but this time…it just HAD To be done. I gave him my card and literally just wished and hoped for days that her Mom would call me. She did. We tried Miss T out for this shoot and she loved it! I loved shooting her! You’ll see more of her. She is my new muse (so..now I have 3. LOL).
